For this proposed project, the task was to construct a tenement museum for Over the Rhine in Cincinnati, OH. Working as a team consisting of an architect, interior designer, and graphic designer, we built and designed the museum, Revive. The concept behind this stems from the “rise and fall” of history in Over the Rhine. From a German immigrant village, to a low income housing community, to a trendy restaurant district, Over the Rhine has a complex past.
Our museum aims to revive these different perspectives and bring the history back to life. From beginning to end, my team worked as a cohesive unit to design the exterior, interior, and branding for this museum. We incorporated our concept of “rise and fall” through the logo, vaulted ceilings, rising facades, and the rise and fall of emotion in the museum.
